fwiw, i enjoy a media round-up. especially one where the author draws out common themes and offers custom categories like this.
i'm only just starting to share my writing (on my website, not substack, though ive read so many interesting things here recently that i'm second guessing that decision). but i think i'm going to share an 'inspiration list' alongside the next one, wrapping up all the art and media ive engaged with this month that's contributed to my thinking.
Ah, John Berger. I know what you mean. His ‘Ways of Seeing’ book and TV series changed my life and fortunes, whilst I was a young (Labour) Birmingham city councillor 🐰
Voyage for Madmen is SUCH a wild ride. So good.
It's great stuff.
That cover is fantastic! Love your style.
Thank you!

He does seem to be one of the very best.
Thanks for the recommendations - definitely a few in there I will peruse. Also your computer book cover is 01101100 01110101 01110011 01101000 (lush)
Thank you, Jonathan!
